Energy Use (By Building)
Energy use for each fiscal year (FY) is being recorded and maintained by Facilities Maintenance and Operations (FMO) Utilities Division. The energy use information shown in the following reports represent only the energy for which FMO has metered data. As FMO does not receive meter data for Auxiliary Services buildings that are directly served by Avista natural gas or electricity, this energy is not shown in the reports. In addition, some buildings served by the UI electric, steam or chilled water distribution systems are not currently metered, so this energy cannot be shown in the reports. In the last several years FMO has added numerous utility meters, and it is our goal to meter and record all the energy use for all major UI buildings by the end of the fiscal year. A list of buildings and utility systems serving those buildings is available for review. Total campus electrical use (by fiscal year) and Total Heating Fuel Usage (by fiscal year) are available for review.
